FEEL 2006 in Slovakia 2.-5.11.

On Wednesday 1.11.2006 17 newies and 25 outgoing members from our LC gathered in front of Vodafone stall in Hlavni nadrazi in Prague to become part of the biggest delegation on the biggest Czech-Slovak conference in 2006 - FEEL, taking place in Slanicka Osada situated in the North-western part of Slovakia.

Yes, the conference was really big, mainly because of two separate, but very intense agendas: All the delegates experienced "Introduction to AIESEC" and even more! The newies from all Czech and Slovak LCs went through the core-work simulation, and the outgoing members enjoyed their preparation for traineeship (e.g. culture stuff).

Each activity was carried out in homegroups (fictive LCs) lead by international facis, most of whom were valuable sources of inspiration, not only for our freshmen. The same applies for international guest Marcus Orlovsky or giant chair Jason. Cool guys...

Real LCs get together only in the evenings to evaluate the day on LC meeting. Although LC Praha had to split up again into newies and SNs, it was a challenging task to find a sufficient room.

As you can see in pictures above, Ondra (chief delegate of newies) started the party a little bit earlier, whereas I managed to persuade SNs to dress up a bit and make a common picture... may be generational differences;)

Don't worry, we didn't miss any party... on the last picture (taken during Topalky competition), you can see 11 faces, out of which 4 are our SNs, 3 our newies and 1 LCP:)

Praha is hot to go!

  • Hi Jirka,

I see you also have too much time in the new year...

JC wouldn't mind. He already needs a nickname because nobody pronounces his name right in the first place. :)

Martin, thanks for the nice recap of this cool conference, I am looking forward to meeting many LC Praha members at NEXT.
