Trainee dinner “U Houdku”

We went to very nice dinner with our trainees the most famous pub near the University of Economics-VSE. Around 20 trainees came to talk, relax and try some Czech cuisine. We have also welcomed our new trainee Alex who is going to work for Inter-informatics.

“Trainee dinners” are a new tradition that we would like to keep within the year. We would like to book some pub for Thursday evening and anyone that would like to meet trainees or AIESECers could come and enjoy some delicious food. It shall be absolutely optional activity for people who like to network.


This time, the best two dishes “Tatranske kure” and “Borivoj” won trainee’s attraction (after my brief promotion:).

CEED in Germany, Stuttgart

Hallo meine Kumpels!
It´s been a while since I got back from Stuttgart, Germany where I was as a CEEDer for two months in this summer (from 7. July till 28.August). I´m telling you- that was sort of spontaneous action and I have to send a big thanks to our EB, which made this happened.

You know the situation, when you´re literally forced to spend every second of your precious time with studying for some annoying test and then (what´s even worse) get grade, which you would better forget, or even fail..Well exactly in that situation I found myself at the end of June, when the mail come:"CEEDer position in Stuttgart, Germany". Wow. That´s what I thought to myself. I didn´t hesitate a second, sent them a mail and you know the rest..;) I was lucky. We made a few calls and mails with our EB (above all with Ondra and Radim), set the expectations and off I was!

I spent a great time out there, participating at all the organisation stuff, project managing, workshops, drinking contests, conferences, travel, fun- just what the whole AIESEC is all about I guess:)

So falks, make sure, you´ll go for some CEEDing next year-IT IS WORTH THAT!

LTC 2006 is on its way...

Summer in Prague isn't just about watching virgins;-) We are working hard as well...

This time we are preparing the most crucial autumn event - Local Training Conference 2006. Planning new concept, creation of agenda and booklets, sessions' preparation, communication with OC and chair(!) and searching for cool individuals for Outdoor team.

LTC will take place in well-known Sec on weekend 13.-15. October.


Be really looking forward, as this year it will be the first LTC in history of AIESEC Praha, where there will be TWO separate tracks:
- newies & TLs
- oldies & trainees
... and TWO separate objectives (detailed information in booklet).


Besides that, you can await the international chair, experienced ex-MC member with people & leadership development background, who is keen on meeting you all there!!

Of course, so are we!!

PS: Roman didn't hesitate to try out objectives of party session;-)

4 virgins in our EB, maybe more...;-)

During the summer, we organized many movie nights on EB room (among others Terminators, Butterfly Effect, Horem Padem, Love Actually, Schindler's List...)

Today evening we wanted to taste still missing genre - kind of autobiographical documentary... that's why we went for "40 year old virgin" describing our lifes in 20 years from now! Just to foresee a bit;-)


When I say "we" I mean just the actual executive part of our EB - you can see in the picture. Girls didn't want to join... should that mean something? ;-)

Board of Advisors for the first time!

Board of Advisors for AIESEC Praha for the first time our history...! We managed our aim to estabilish an external body that would help AIESEC Praha to be consistent and sustainable in planning and execution.

We also wanted to fight the lack of external feedback on our activities. Therefore, we officially invited Miss Vladka Diblikova (HR Specialist) and Mr. Pavel Zavitkovsky (KPMG Partner) to consult our year plan.

EB holiday in Vysoke Tatry, Slovakia

EB has to relax as well so we went to Vysoke Tatry in Slovakia for holiday 27th July till 2nd August 2006. We spent one unforgettable week hiking in mountains and enjoying beautiful nature around.

We made 2 whole-day trips to Rysy and Priecne sedlo. The second trip to Terryho cottage and Priecne sedlo was an outstanding teambuilding because we got wet 3 times and we almost died on the rocks....



To make our vacation special we went to Poprad for Aquacity, Strbske pleso on bikes and got drunk a little bit every night:) Thanks to Radim we didn´t get lost anytime and thanks to Roman we could sleep at his "ujove" cottage.

I enjoyed it so much...
